Director of the Hayden Planetarium and host of NOVA, StarTalk radio, and Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist for the people.  An advocate for science education, Tyson educates his audience with a thoroughly entertaining and accessible presentation. 

We were lucky enough to see him in 2014 when he visited the Beth El Synagogue as part of their Inspiring Minds series.  If you get the chance to see him, it is highly recommended you do so.
