The Science Museum of Minnesota host various hands-on activities and creations led by local artists, scientists, and crafters.  Tailored for children and families, this event is free with general admission.

From the website: "Light Play: Construct kinetic light sculptures that play with color, reflection, refraction, shadow, transparency.  LED coptors: Create small helicopters with LED lights and then shoot them into the air with rubber bands.  Elephant Toothpaste: See and create interesting foam chemical reactions."
